Singapore (6/12/2013) – Singapore’s first indulgent seafood sub store brings the taste of the seven seas to Westgate today. Promising an indulgent, fast take-away seafood experience, Catch ‘N Bite focuses on bringing quality food at affordable prices to people at Westgate.
We started with proven recipes and then worked in the kitchen to sharpen the taste of seafood. Throughout the entire process, the team was focused on bringing out the flavour of the sea while tweaking it to the unique tendencies of the Singaporean palette. Seafood lovers will fall in love with the idea of a quick Soft-Shell crab sandwich that will hit the spot.
With her love for the sea evident in her daily life, SureCatch World CEO Doris Toh, together with innovation firm Consulus, spent much focus on the retail concept, branding and what the food being served meant for people. “Catch ‘N Bite’s fast and fun approach to food will offer different way, inspired by the sea, to offer comedy, rich conversations and really great food.” said Doris. In bringing this concept to life, Doris aims to bring the the SureCatch World brand to a new audience of non-anglers.
The Crunchin’ Po’ Boy line brings hot, crunchy crustacean joy to consumers. Amongst the many choices offered, diners can bite into the crispy Soft-Shell Crab or decide to munch on the succulent Shrimp Po’ Boys, all stuffed to the brim with goodness and topped off with our home-made remoulade sauce.
Fried items are not the only things on the menu. Adapted from a traditional New England recipe, our Ultimate Catch Rolls are a creamy delight, packed to the brim with a choice of luxurious lobster, shrimp or crab meat and served up on a toasted ciabatta bun.
Looking forward, Seafood Sandwiches are just a start. As we grow, Catch ‘N Bite will continue to add to our range of items, with more seafood specialties from all over the world.
